1968 Hodaka Early Ace 100

Hodaka aficionados, ere is a great example of the first year Ace 100. I restored this fun little motorcycle for the 50th anniversary at Hodaka Days in Athena. The bike won second place in it's class. The tank emblems are the commemorative badges procured by Strictly Hodaka for the celebratory event last year.

Here is what has been done to restore this bike:

Powder coated frame, riginal chrome dent free tank, e-chromed kicker,shifter, ead light ring/mounting bracket, xhaust guard, ork springs, ool canister, xhaust end. Re-plated original hardware throughout, OS air cleaner, eramic coated exhaust pipe, ew ignition, ire harness, hift kit, ubber parts. New Dunlap tires and tubes, ll new cables, eat foam and cover. This Hodaka runs, hifts and sounds wonderful. The front brakes are weak, ot sure why. The lights and wiring are connected but a battery was never installed so I do not know if they work. The clutch drags slightly although the clutch cage has been rebuilt. These are minor issues that I did not sort out.
