This big old 1982 Kawasaki KZ1100D Spectre shaft drive muscle bike has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life ?ˆ“ the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to machinery than ours. This and the fact it's only showing 24132 miles and has been in dry storage for the last umpteen years have helped maintain its boyish good looks. PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES. As you can see this bike is very nearly complete missing just the Ignition key. Sadly the bike has taken a tumble which has bashed the clocks breaking the mounting bracket. denting the fuel tank & breaking the tail lense. BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS. The bike is every bit as solid as it looks here. The wheels are straight with clean discs. calipers & working master cylinders. Forks & yokes look straight. Mudguards are both solid. Carburetors are free sliding off the twist grip. Exhaust system is original & solid. Seat is in very good condition throughout. The engine is cosmetically very clean ?ˆ“ When we bypassed the ignition. hooked it up to a good battery & fed it a few squirts of ether it starts & runs but the carbs do need cleaning. REGISTRATION

1. You need to get the bike MOT?ˆ™d.

2. You need to prove the year of manufacture. The American Title will do this.

3. You need to have valid insurance on the bike. You can insure it on the chassis number.

4. Send all this paper work to the DVLA. who will charge you £55 for the 1st registration & the current fee for the road tax.

5. The DVLA will send you your age related registration number.
