This stunningly clean & very original 1981 Kawasaki KZ1000-K1 LTD Muscle Custom Cruiser has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life ?ˆ“ the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to machinery than ours. This and the fact it's only showing 19934 miles and has been in dry storage for the last umpteen years have helped maintain its boyish good looks. PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES. As you can see this bike is complete & very original. The bike has obviously stood a while so the battery is flat & rear master cylinder isn't working. BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS. The bike is every bit as nice as it looks here. The wheels are straight with nice clean discs & calipers. Forks & yokes are straight with greatchrome & clean alloy. Mudguards are both solid & very tidy. Tail light assy is good as are the headlight & hangers. Instruments & switches look great. Fuel tank & side panels are solid & tank is squeaky clean inside and has just minor marks & scratches in the original paint. Carburetors are free sliding off the twist grip. Exhaust system is original & solid. Seat isin very good condition throughout. Chain guard is tidy. Shox are damping fine. The engine is cosmetically very clean. sadly the starter motor isn't working but it turns over nicely when the bike is pushed in gear ?ˆ“ sounds/feels great & has compression but we haven't run it up. REGISTRATION

1. You need to get the bike MOT?ˆ™d.

2. You need to prove the year of manufacture. The American Title will do this.

3. You need to have valid insurance on the bike. You can insure it on the chassis number.

4. Send all this paper work to the DVLA. who will charge you ??55 for the 1st registration & the current fee for the road tax.

5. The DVLA will send you your age related registration number.
